How exciting!
I have used an amber teething necklace with my youngest son almost from the time he was born. We never had teething issues with him including no drool! That wasn’t the case for his older brothers so amber necklaces are something I personally don’t want to be without!
I wear one doubled on my wrist because they aren’t only good for babies. Ancient peoples used to use them for inflammation. I stopped wearing fashion jewelry a couple years ago and I only like to wear something if I feel it’s going to benefit my health.
They are also used for their magnificent healing power for treating joint pain and arthritic ailments. You might be surprised to know baltic amber is also used in the cosmetics industry and in other fields as well. In his works, Hippocrates (460-377 BC) described medicinal properties and methods of application of Baltic amber that were later used by scientists until the Middle Ages. Throughout history amber has been used for swollen glands, sore throat and palate, jaundice, throat, ear and eye diseases, and promoting stronger teeth. I researched about amber teething necklaces a few weeks ago since my son started teething. His first tooth just popped through today on the first day of summer! what a great way to remember. He would look so stylish with this necklace =)

The rainbow is so lovely! I know well the benefits of amber and my girl wore her necklace frequently until a couple months ago when she yanked on it and it broke (as it should under pressure). She has some molars coming in now and we need a replacement! Perhaps this will be it?
p.s. I really enjoy your blog, especially the food ideas. Can’t wait to try that coconut kefir.
