About Me

In no particular order: I am a devoted peaceful attachment mother of three, alternative medicine advocate, Unschooling, raw food loving, juicing enthusiast, Intactivist, babywearing, natural immunity advocate, Earth loving hippy, Lactivist, altruistically trying to save the world from itself.

My education credentials, which I value much less than my real life experiences and information seeking, are a Bachelors in Business Management from the University of Nevada Las Vegas.

I believe the industrialization of society is causing families to become forever changed and not for the better. Children are living detached lives from their parents, eating packaged foods devoid of vitamins and minerals, and parents are working long hours and in the end is everyone REALLY happy? We have slowly become consumerists, living for the next hot purchase while quality time has fallen to the wayside. Being burnt out from long work hours and packed schedules, parents no longer have the time to enjoy the art of preparing food for the family and resort to foods that continue the downward spiral of tiredness and brain fog. Meanwhile advertisers and food producers are one step ahead making it impossible to have the time to research everything. That’s what I’m here for. To share the knowledge from my hours of reading and research for my own family with YOU!

I believe families need to slow down and enjoy each other. Learn to take a step back and enjoy things like running through the grass barefoot instead of family time meaning watching TV, or an outing to the local strip mall.

I am passionate about whole health which includes emotional health as well as what we choose to nourish our bodies. I think society has lost track of that inner instinctual voice that guides eating, parenting and living. Our ancestors had it right by growing their own food, schooling their own children and allowing them to experience the world through play, working as a team or tribe, using food as their medicine, keeping their children close, and respecting the environment around them. We live in amazing times where we have the benefit of certain things like the internet to keep us connected. Now if only we can use the modern treasures and go back to enjoying our true treasures like our families and our Earth. :)
